Position Title: Sr. Reports Developer/Data Architect

Position Location: Candidate must reside in DC/MD/VA, this position is telework eligible

Daily Responsibilities:                                 

• Works with Business Analytics and data visualization tools to perform analysis on varied data located on-premises and on cloud.
• Creates end-to-end Salesforce and Tableau Analytics reporting solutions adhering to platform best practices.
• Using Salesforce Reports and Dashboards REST API to perform:
• Integrate report data into custom objects
• Define rich visualizations on top of the API to animate the data.
• Build custom dashboards.
• Automate reporting tasks.
• Run tabular, summary, or matrix reports synchronously or asynchronously.
• Filter for specific data on the fly.
• Query report metadata.
• Designs and builds relational databases.
• Performs data access analysis design, and archive/recovery design and implementation, especially in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
• Analyze As-Is SQL databases, tables, stored procedures, and utilize industry best practices to migrate data to Salesforce Cloud.
• Using DMAmp, APIs and other tools to integrate and extend on-premises SQL Database for Real-Time, Bidirectional connectivity with Salesforce.
• Using MuleSoft, perform integration via API, XML to perform data sync between Salesforce and on-site SQL databases.
• Create technical documentation addressing implementations, processes, and procedures.
• Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
• Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database
• Participates in corporate or customer activity meetings that are determined to be mandatory. These may include weekly meetings, Internal Program Review (IPR) meetings, ad-hoc meetings, business development meetings, manager training sessions and other meetings designated “as required.”
• Be prepared to receive additional training for products and services that relate directly to the position.

Required Years of Experience (min):       

• 5 years’ experience in reports development/data architect
• 8 years’ experience with Salesforce
• Salesforce and Tableau certifications are a plus

Required Degree/Certifications:              

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.
• Allowable Substitution: Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree

Required Experience:                                  

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in reports development/data architect
• 8 years’ experience with Salesforce
• Salesforce and Tableau certifications are a plus.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with business analytics and data visualization using Tableau CRM [formerly Einstein Analytics].
• Expert in developing out-of-the-box end-to-end Tableau (Einstein) solutions that adhere to platform best practices.
• Expert with developing custom Tableau (Einstein) implementations to include (SAQL, JSON), Dataflow and Binding solutions.
• Hands-on knowledge of building custom reports using Tableau.
• Experience using Lightning Report Builder & Tableau (Einstein) to create intuitive, insightful, and actionable reports and dashboards.
• Extensive hands-on experience in data warehousing design, tuning and ETL/ELT process development.
• Experience configuring data sources to extract & migrate data from multiple sources and storing it in logical manner in Salesforce.
• Experienced with Grouping, Filtering, Report Charts and summarization records to answer business questions. 

Required Clearance:

• Secret or Public Trust with ability to obtain Secret clearance
