Position Title: Network Administrator

Position Location: Full Time onsite in Aurora, CO


Daily Responsibilities:                                 

  • Deploy and sustain new or existing information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other communications networks.
  • Administers day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security and availability of the network.
  • Perform daily performance monitoring, capacity analysis, and maintain security posture of the network.
  • May assist architecture and engineering with evaluation, making recommendations and testing of network hardware and software products.
  • Creates standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for the operational upkeep of the network.
  • Performs network infrastructure maintenance upgrades to ensure a proper security and operational posture is maintained.
  • Level III performs more independent thinking and difficult tasks compared to Level II and may supervise others.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • 6+ years of experience.


Required Degree/Certification:           

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
  • IAT II and CE CCNA or CySA+ ** or GICSP or GSEC or Security+ CE or CND or SSCP


Required Experience:                                  

  • Preferred Advanced Network Management and Optimization: Oversee and manage complex network systems, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and availability.
  • Preferred Conduct advanced performance monitoring, capacity planning, and network optimization to meet organizational needs.
  • Preferred Strategic Planning and Implementation: Lead the deployment and integration of sophisticated information networks, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, intranets, and extranets. Develop and implement strategic network plans and policies to support long-term organizational goals.
  • Preferred Expert Troubleshooting and Innovation: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge network technologies and solutions.


Required Clearance:

  • Tier 3 (T3)/Public Trust (min.)
