Position Title: Program Manager

Position Location: Combination of telework at the Contractor personnel residence when telework is authorized and Arlington, VA or other local facilities within the Washington DC area/National Capital Region.


Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Primary POC for the contract and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring effective lines of communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Monitor progress, deliverables, timelines, and outcome of the program and support deliverables, management reviews, and reporting.
  • Provide written status reports and updates as required.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are carried out based on standard industry practices for project administration, execution, and tracking. Identifies and works with client and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and continuity.
  • Track project performance against established milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain regular communication with federal managers/COR providing updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel and equipment.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing programs 


Required Degree/Certification:           

  • BS/BA degree (preferred).
  • Allowable Substitution: Additional ten (10) years of related professional experience can be substituted for a BS/BA degree.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.


Required Experience:                                  

  • Experience managing, integrating and coordinating activities needed for the management of a program. This includes timeliness, completeness and quality of problem identification, corrective action plans, timely identification of issues, effective/responsive management of Subcontractors, customer satisfaction, and professional and ethical behavior of Contractor personnel.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience using project management tools and software like Microsoft Project, JIRA, ServiceNow, or Primavera to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for document preparation, data analysis, and communication.
  • DHS experience in similar position is preferred.


Required Clearance:

  • Must be U.S. Citizen
  • TS/SCI security clearance
