We are currently searching for a Director of Corporate Partnerships for a Media and Broadcasting Nonprofit. The position is In-Person, and Temp- to -Perm, with an anticipated salary range of $140,000 - $150,000.

LOCATION: New York, NY 

POSITION TITLE: Director of Corporate Partnerships

SCHEDULE: 40 Hrs/ Week  

DURATION: 2-3 months  

HOURLY RATE: $50-$55 

 

 

Is This Your Dream Job? As the Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will spearhead sponsorship efforts, building and nurturing high-value relationships with key corporate partners. Your expertise in fundraising and your extensive network will be critical in driving the success of major events and initiatives.

 

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate partnerships or high-level development sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel); experience with MS Dynamics or Airtable preferred.
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record in fundraising and closing sponsorships, including six and seven-figure deals.
  • Knowledge of New York and Los Angeles fundraising communities with established relationships with senior executives and corporate social responsibility officers.
  • Familiarity with media and entertainment is a must.
  • Ability to develop creative proposals, multitask, prioritize, and respond promptly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and business writing skills with a highly organized approach.
  • Proactive, energetic, and engaging personality with a polished executive presence.

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

  • Collaborate with the Vice President, of Development to expand the donor base in New York City and Los Angeles, meeting fundraising targets through sponsorships, private and corporate foundations, and government giving.
  • Research and secure new support for major events, including the Honors gala and luncheon.
  • Lead face-to-face meetings and presentations with key decision-makers to pitch, negotiate, and close sponsorship deals.
  • Ensure delivery and management of sponsorship and corporate member benefits with excellence.
  • Communicate the organization’s mission and programs effectively to attract and secure corporate funders.
  • Develop and implement opportunities to increase engagement and pride among sponsors and members.
  • Maintain and cultivate a pipeline of prospects, preparing weekly status reports for executive leadership.
  • Utilize CRM tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness; participate in additional projects as needed.
