Job Title: Recruiter

Reports to: Senior Vice President, Recruiting Fulfillment

Location: Hybrid role (2 days working remotely and 3 days in-office); candidates need to be based in or near Washington, DC

Supervises: N/A

Status: Exempt

Compensation: $50-60K base + commission; benefits

Job Summary:

In this exciting role, you'll be a vital part of our mission, guiding job seekers on their journey to landing their ideal positions. You will source, evaluate, engage, and manage candidates, while working closely with Client Specialists to align client needs with the perfect candidates. We are looking for someone who brings a positive and solution-focused attitude to every challenge, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients and candidates.


Essential Functions:

  • Source and Attract Talent: Build a robust talent pool by identifying and attracting qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough phone and face-to-face interviews to understand candidates' technical abilities, cultural fit, and job preferences.
  • Client Collaboration: Partner with our Account Executives to grasp client needs and match them with suitable candidates.
  • Optimize Tools: Leverage our ATS database, LOXO, Boolean search, and other tools to maximize candidate utilization.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with candidates, ensuring Careers In Nonprofits is their top choice.
  • Honesty and Respect: Interact with everyone in a respectful and honest manner.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success in recruiting, talent acquisition, or sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other technology.
  • Clear and positive communicator with candidates, clients, and team members.
  • Track record of success in a growth-focused organization.
