We are currently in search of an Administrative Assistant for a Jewish Nonprofit. The position is part-time, remote (based in Eastern Time Zone). This is a temporary, part-time assignment.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Jewish Nonprofit

LOCATION: Remote (Based in Eastern Time Zone)

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant

SCHEDULE: Part-time; 10-20 hours/week

DURATION: Temporary; ~3-6 month

HOURLY PAY: $22.00-23.00/hour

 

Is This Your Dream Job: The Administrative Assistant will support the Executive Director and team. You will provide administrative assistance and should be comfortable with various operational support and tasks, including data entry and CRMs preferably Salesforce. You would be the perfect fit for this opportunity if you have an entrepreneurial mindset, enjoy taking initiative, and are comfortable with ambiguity. While this role is remote, candidates must be based in DC, VA, MD, NY, NJ, PA.


Our Ideal Candidate:

 

·        2+ years of administrative experience required, including travel arrangements

·        Proficient with Google Suite and a Project Management Software, such as Asana

·        Proficient with Salesforce CRM

·        Ability to work independently to execute projects on a timely basis with minimal supervision and sound judgment

·        Must provide your own computer and internet

·        Customer service-oriented and collaborative

·        Knowledge and understanding of Jewish faith and culture preferred

 

 

How You Will Spend Your Day:

 

·        Maintain the office of the Executive Director including light calendaring and email management

·        Prepare correspondence, memos, and obtain signatures as needed

·        Manage travel and hotel bookings

·        Coordinate and support webinars and events 

·        Support gift processing functions and send acknowledgment letters as needed

·        Knowledge management, data entry, and data cleaning within the filing system and for contacts

·        Support outreach to website users as needed

·        Conduct light desk research

·        Support basic financial administration tasks as needed
