We are currently in search of a Finance Office Manager for a Community Resource organizationThe is a Full/Part Time (32-40 hrs./wk.), Hybrid, Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity.

 

ORGANIZATION TYPE: Community Resource

LOCATION: San Mateo, CA

POSITION TITLE: Finance Office Manager

SCHEDULE: Full/Part Time; 32-40 hrs./wk.; Hybrid

DURATION: Temporary-to-Permanent

PAY RATE: Temp hourly rate will be $35-38/hour (If converted to a permanent employee, the salary range is $75-80K/yr. plus benefits)

 

Is This Your Dream Job: As the Finance Office Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the District Office and its programs. Duties include general office tasks and administrative duties, such as supply ordering, data entry, and bookkeeping. 


Our Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience working in non-profit bookkeeping and accounting principles highly preferred
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 required
  • Knowledgeable of Salesforce and NetSuite applications preferred
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  •  

How You Will Spend Your Day:

 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Receive and sort incoming mail
  • Document financial transactions in detail
  • Prepare and file financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Fact-check accounting data
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Organize and maintain a central filing system
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders
  • Assist with bank deposits and cash controls
  • Provide accounting support as needed
  • Assist with yearly audit and tax preparation
