Job Title: Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney - Non-Litigation

Job Purpose:

• Support other attorneys in non-litigation cases
• Flexible role with optional appearances
• Part-time or full-time, fully remote

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in California Workers’ Compensation Defense
• Admitted to the State Bar of California in good standing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to outstanding customer service
• Efficient multitasking with minimal supervision
• Client-focused, action-based results

Responsibilities:

• Case Handling Non-Litigation Attorney: Review legal files, work up cases, provide written status reports
• Appearance Coverage Attorney: Appear for hearings, depositions, trials, and report dispositions
• Possibility to combine case handling and appearance coverage based on skills and interest

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong dictation skills
• Reading comprehension and data entry accuracy
• Experience with Case Management Software
• Effective public, client, and employee interaction
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask and work under pressure
