Virtual Billing Specialist (Patient Billing)

We are hiring a Virtual Billing Specialist to work remotely. The premier standard of dental billing services to dental offices nationwide. This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested in working for a national company with an opportunity for growth.

All applicants MUST have a comprehensive understanding of accounts receivable (A/R) in a dental setting. This includes detailed knowledge of dental insurance, submitting claims, managing & reconciling EOBs to post payments, and overall proficiency with the dental revenue cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the billing process for assigned practices across the United States
• Handle patient information regarding treatment and procedures to ensure proper coding
• Provide suggestions to practices on ways to improve the revenue cycle process
• Work effectively within dental practice management software systems
• Send insurance claims & post insurance payments
• Patient Billing protocols

Requirements:

• 2+ years of dental front office experience and billing knowledge
• Expertise in interpreting and processing EOBs to post payments
• History of maintaining a high collection rate in previous position(s)
• Efficient time-management and prioritization skills
• Solutions-driven with a keen eye for areas of improvement
• Coachable with a desire to learn and grow; ability to adapt and overcome
• Open-minded with a desire to help others (clients and team)
• Extensive knowledge of billing process, procedures, CPT coding, ICD 10, and ADA coding
• Ability to reduce and manage outstanding accounts receivable
• Well-organized and analytical with high attention to detail
• Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must have: Patient Billing Protocols Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple dental software systems
• Some exposure with specialties (i.e. ortho, endo, oral surgery, etc.)
