Join staff at a 295 bed regional facility in south central Kentucky who’s clinic location .   is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join Lake Cumberland Medical Associates located on our campus. The practice started in the 1970's and now has 15 physicians and 8 mid-level providers seeing patients. It is a Rural Health Clinic and located on campus.  The office does have an after- hours clinic which is open 7 days a week to provide care for your patients while you are away. We also offer ancillaries such as lab, x-ray, hearing booth and occupational medicine for workers comp patients and annual physical exams for our community employers. This is an outpatient only opportunity as a large hospitalist team will admit your patients as needed.  Residents, Fellows and experienced applicants welcome.  In addition to taking care of the patients there is an opportunity to precept in our Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency programs by shadowing residents and students on rotations as needed.

The Hospital

Established in 1976, the hospital serves a 10-county area in south central Kentucky at its 295-bed acute care facility and a number of stand-alone outpatient centers. With more than 40 physician specialties and nearly 200 physicians on staff, we offer the most comprehensive medical services in the region, including complete cardiac care, a level II neonatal nursery and a neurosurgery program rated among the best in the nation.  Accredited by The Joint Commission and has been awarded their Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Care and Spine Surgery Certification, as well as the Commission on Cancer certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation with PCI from the American College of Cardiology.


The Community
