Position:
Hospital employed
outpatient only position, clinic located 75 minutes from Asheville. New physician will be joining an established
practice of three well respected physicians (2 Family Practice & 1 Internal
Medicine). There is an hospitalist
medicine program that covers all inpatient activity at the hospital which is 26
minutes away.
The Community
Located 50 minutes from Asheville, the area is nestled among the
Great Smoky Mountains and is home to both a University and Community
College. You’ll experience a quaint and
thriving downtown area and main street district with hometown shops and
restaurants. The area is known for its wide array of readily accessible outdoor
activities. The river offers whitewater rafting for beginners and families, and
is considered one of western North Carolina’s best trout streams. Hiking and biking opportunities can be found.
*50 miles from Asheville and Gatlinburg, 110 miles from
Knoxville, Tennessee and 150 miles from Atlanta. It is also convenient to
upstate South Carolina and less than three hours from North Carolina’s largest
city, Charlotte.
