Job Summary:


The Field Technical Advisor is responsible for strategically developing and managing a territory in order to effectively bring in new business while also retaining and growing existing customers sales in order to achieve overall goals. Building the company brand of Anterior & Complex Case Specialist is always the primary consideration. Must be able to communicate well and have the ability to establish relationships with team members, customers and prospects.  


Essential Job Functions:


• Develop a list of prospects and utilize selling skills in order to generate new business and cultivate sales growth among these target accounts.

• Strategically develop and manage territory to effectively handle all new and existing customers.

• Maintain product knowledge, competitor knowledge, and industry trend awareness for overall effectiveness.

• Meet established call average expectations and sales quotas.

o Must be willing to travel frequently, including overnights, and have the ability to make 15-20 sales calls per day

• Establish and maintain relationships with existing customers and their staff in order to retain and cultivate existing sales.

• Establish and maintain dental industry contacts that will lead to future sales.

• Display and promote our company values of Excellence, Creating Opportunities, Growth Mindset, Teamwork and Customer Focus.

• Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with dentists and their staff to retain and cultivate existing customer sales.

• Communicate and collaborate with the technical staff to ensure account information is being communicated properly to guarantee customer satisfaction, continued sales retention and growth opportunities.

• Continually search for ways to exceed our customer’s expectations.

• Make presentations and actively participate in regional and national tradeshows.

• Call on dentists within your assigned territory and inform these professionals about the features and benefits of our laboratory and products in order to grow market share.

• Maintain accurate records of communication with accounts and prospects.

• Employ strong interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and planning skills in order to accomplish duties.

• Utilize marketing materials and campaigns in order to build awareness and increase sales.

• Evaluate and communicate back to management the marketability of our products in relation to customers’ needs.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments.

• In addition to these typical duties, engage in other duties and special projects as assigned and required
