Position:            Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide

Schedule:          1 day per week (Sunday), 8am – 8pm with flexibility to help other days as needed

Location:           Darien, CT

Salary:              $30/hour

Overview:

Couple seeking a trustworthy, and reliable CNA/Home Health Aide to care for husband in wheelchair. Candidate should have previous experience and have the flexibility to help keep the home tidy in tandem with the family’s other staff.  Someone who enjoys making an occasional meal (breakfast or lunch) would be welcome.

Duties:

·      Help husband get dressed each day

·      Take blood pressure daily, monitor health, and know what to do if medical assistance is needed

·      Provide companionship and assistance, as requested

·      Keep a watchful eye on client while preserving their feel of independence

·      Run occasional errands as needed

Requirements:

·      5+ years of experience as a companion or similar position

·      Excellent references and clean background

·      Valid driver’s license

·      Non-smoker
