Position:                         Live-out or Live-in Housekeeper

Location:                        Greenwich, CT

Schedule:                        Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm), 40-50 hours per week

Salary:                            $45-50/hour plus benefits and bonus

Overview:

Active family is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper to help maintain their 11,000 sq. ft. Greenwich, CT home. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities.  Needs to be a self-starter, who can help with cleaning, laundry, organizing, and miscellaneous special requests. Will need to collaborate with other team members, including the House Manager.

Responsibilities:

·      Housekeeping:  Responsible for regular daily cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and proficiency in caring for special surfaces (antiques, crystal, china, silver, brass, stone, marble, fabric/upholstery, artwork, etc.).  Deep cleaning scheduled when family is away.

·      Laundry: General laundry, including washing, drying and ironing (clothes & sheets)

·      Organizing closets and maintaining inventory of family’s items

·      Help with miscellaneous special requests as needed

·      Provide excellent service to principals and guests

·      Occasional pet care (small dog and cat), includes walking and feeding as needed

Requirements:

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in private residences

·      Detail-oriented, trustworthy, well-organized, respectful, discreet, positive, energetic and punctual

·      Self-starter and happy to work autonomously or collaboratively with other team members, including the House Manager

·      Very professional with great experience and discretion

·      Forward thinking and organized

·      Excellent English communication skills

·      Valid U.S. work authorization and driver’s license; driving for errands is a bonus but not required
