Position:            Housekeeper/Cook

Schedule:          33 hours per week: Mon. 11-6, Tues. 11-6, Thurs. 11-6, Fri. 11-6 and Sun. 10-3 (Weds. & Sat. are off days)

Location:           Darien, CT

Salary:              $1,000 per week 

Overview:

Warm, friendly single mother with a twelve-year-old child is seeking a proactive professional Housekeeper/Cook to assist with the upkeep of their residence in Darien, CT.  The ideal candidate will help the full-time Housekeeper and prepare dinner each night (simple recipes). Looking for energetic candidates who pay great attention to detail, have an efficient systematic approach, and have excellent organization skills. Long-term household experience preferred. Must love dogs.

Duties:

·      Cook dinner each day (simple, “family style” dinners for mother and son)

·      Prepare lunch for the following day for mother to take with her to the office

·      Grocery shopping

·      Cleaning / housekeeping

·      Help full-time Housekeeper whenever necessary

·      Run errands as needed

·      Walk the dog, if necessary

Candidate Qualities:

·      Professional, self-confident, energetic, and intuitive

·      Good communicator

·      Can adjust to and accommodate changing circumstances

Requirements:

·      5+ years’ formal household experience

·      Experienced in homes using green products, homes with pets and children

·      Excellent, stable work history and references

·      English fluency

·      Valid driver’s license - car provided; Excellent driving record

·      Non-smoker
