Job Description: Full-time Housekeeper

Schedule:            Monday – Friday (10am – 6pm) with flexibility for more hours as needed

Location:             Larchmont, NY

Salary:              $35-40/hour

Overview:

Active family of four is looking for a diligent Full-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home in Larchmont, NY. The candidate must be proactive, detail oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be a self-starter with excellent systematic cleaning and laundry experience, and ability to help with driving, simple meal preparation, and dog care.

Duties:

·      Housekeeping / Cleaning:  Responsible for full cleaning of the home, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces. Particular attention to kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Primary focus of job is cleaning and laundry.

·      Laundry:  Manage daily laundry, including washing, ironing, folding and putting away clothes

·      Driving: Pickup children from school and drive them to activities as needed (car will be provided)

·      Meal prep: Help with simple meal preparation twice a week (basic, family style meals)

·      Dog care: Take dog (French Bulldog) for walks on occasion

Requirements:

·      Professional, good listener, able to follow directions

·      Meticulous, detail oriented and “can do” attitude

·      Proficient with English language – spoken, reading and writing

·      Comfortable with children and pets

·      Must drive and have own car
