Job Description:                 Live Out Housekeeper

Schedule:                            Full-Time, 5 days/week (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM)

Location:                             Bedford, NY

Salary:                                $40 - $45 per hour depending on experience

Overview

A lovely young couple is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their household to provide cleaning and organizational services for a 5-bedroom / 5-bathroom residence. The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning standards, be well-organized, and be able to manage their time effectively. Candidates must demonstrate skills in all aspects of clothing care and household cleaning using organic cleaning supplies.

Duties

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Vacuuming, dry/wet mopping, and floor care
• Dusting all surfaces, furniture, blinds, window ledges, trim
• Clean kitchen area including appliances, counters, and sinks
• Hand-wiping any wood furniture
• Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms and vanities
• Change linens and make the beds

Laundry and Organization:

• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, ironing, steaming, and folding clothes, towels, and linens
• Organize closets, drawers, pantry, and storage areas

Additional Duties:

• Run errands (a car will be provided)
• Provide pet care as needed for the family’s 4 dogs (3 Beagles and Basset)
• Perform other household tasks as requested
