Position:            Part-time Housekeeper

Schedule:          3 days a week (ideally Monday, Wednesday, Friday but flexible). 4 hours each day (12 hours total); hours can be anytime between 9am-3pm

Location:           Westport, CT

Salary:                $40/hour

Overview:

Active family of three is looking for a diligent Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their Westport, CT home. The candidate must be proactive, detail oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be a self-starter with excellent systematic cleaning and laundry experience.

Responsibilities:

·      Housekeeping: Responsible for full charge of housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces. Particular attention to kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

·      Laundry: Doing general laundry and ironing, including washing, folding and putting away clothes; changing sheets on beds; replacing bathroom towels, etc.

·      Help with overall home organization and manage vendors who come to the home

·      Manage inventory of household supplies

·      Occasional dog walking and feeding when asked

Requirements:

·      Honest, discreet and trustworthy

·      Professional, good listener, able to follow directions, and proactive

·      Proficient with English language

·      Must drive and have own car

·      Must be comfortable with dogs (family has two friendly Labrador Retrievers)
