Overview

One client is seeking an experienced Domestic Couple to join their staff. Candidates must be experienced working in a fine home and be able to demonstrate skills pertaining to all of the duties outlined below. The family prefers someone a Couple who is professional, but friendly, non-obtrusive, and highly trustworthy. The family has one older dog, so candidates should be pet-friendly.

Position 1 Duties

·       Household Management. The House Manager will responsible for the overall smooth operation of the home, including but not limited to vendor management, errands, purchasing supplies.

·       Cooking. The Cook will be responsible for menu planning, shopping for ingredients, preparing, and serving daily dinner. The family prefers simple, healthy meals

·       Housekeeping. The Housekeeper will be responsible for full charge housekeeping, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces, including antiques. General washing and pressing of family laundry and household linens is also required.

Position 2 Duties

·       Caretaking. The Caretaker will be responsible for the overall maintenance and care of the property including grounds and all structures. This includes overseeing others as well as ‘hands-on” execution. Seasonally, the Caretaker will help take care for grounds including, garden care and maintenance, leaf removal, snow plowing etc. Must be able to oversee and assist when needed with performing these functions.

·       Houseman / handyman. The Houseman will be responsible for the heavy cleaning duties inside the home as well as general maintenance on the property, including hvac, plumbing, electrical, appliances, generator, vehicles and pool equipment. Should be able to do small hands-on repairs and improvements and select and oversee outside contractors when needed.

·       Driving. The Driver should be familiar with the local area and efficient with transporting the principals, family, and guests to work, school, local airports, or other destinations, as needed. The Driver should maintain the vehicle in guest-ready condition at all times and stay current with required maintenance.
