Position:            Part-time Housekeeper

Schedule:          3 days per week (Mon., Weds., Fri.), 8am – 1pm each day

Location:           Greenwich, CT

Salary:                $40/hour

Other Staff: House Manager, Nanny, and Driver

Overview:

Active family is looking for a diligent Part-time Housekeeper to help maintain their home in Greenwich, CT. The candidate must be proactive, detail oriented, and eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. Needs to be a self-starter with excellent systematic cleaning and laundry experience, and ability to help run miscellaneous errands as needed.

Responsibilities:

·      Housekeeping / Cleaning:  Responsible for full charge cleaning of the home, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting, as appropriate, all floors and household surfaces. Particular attention to kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Major focus of job is cleaning and laundry.

·      Laundry:  Manage daily laundry, including washing, ironing, folding and putting away clothes; Experience to know what can be washed and what needs to be dry cleaned

·      Errands:  Run miscellaneous errands for family as needed, including pickup of pre-ordered groceries 

Requirements:

·      Honest, discreet and trustworthy

·      Professional, good listener, able to follow directions

·      Able to work well with other household staff

·      Proficient with English language – spoken, reading and writing

·      Child friendly

·      Must drive and have own car
