The Team:
The Shared Services team is comprised of inhouse captive centers, based mainly in East Aurora
(New York) and Amstelveen (Netherlands) as well as satellite locations in Penang (Malaysia) and
Hong Kong. These centers deliver services to the organization as well as manage the
relationship with our Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) in India. These centers are driving
innovation and continuous improvement to ensure they are exceeding the needs of the business and
are achieving a ‘best in class’ status.
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Vice President, Global Shared Services, based out of our global
headquarters in Los Angeles, CA. The Vice President will be responsible for the leadership and
strategic direction of the Shared Service center operations, consisting of captive global centers
and an outsourced center with multiple global locations. The Vice President will oversee the BPO
work-stream for finance and accounting to drive ‘best in class’ processes and policies.
What Your Impact Will Be:
 Leads the execution of Finance, Accounting and Business Process
Outsourcing and global Shared Services operating model, including new transitions
of processes into Shared Services
 Manages governance with the Business Process Outsourcer (“BPO”) to drive
contract compliance, automation and productivity gains
 Leads the BPO talent engagement, development and performance. Ensures
proper training is in place for teams across the company and BPO provider. Works with
BPO provider to monitor and minimize attrition.
 Drive continuous improvement across Finance and Accounting processes,
creating best in class processes and policies. These include process, automation,
productivity and technology improvements
 Own the business case for consolidating, upgrading or implementing major new
systems in support of shared services operations. Maintain technology readiness
and financial master data in conjunction with IT and continue our financial
transformation initiatives to enhance and automate existing finance and accounting
functions
 Lead the transition of activity, balancing pace of transition with management of risk
and change
 Ensures full compliance across the company and the BPO provider with all global
accounting and internal control standards, including US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX
 Collaborate with business units to define business requirements, drive strategic
change and continuous improvement

 Works closely with other Finance areas (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, etc.) and outside
auditors to coordinate activities and ensure optimized and effective end to end
operations
 Travel component of the position expected to be approximately 25% (under typical
business circumstances)

What We’re Looking For:
 Proven leadership skills in driving strategy, organizational design, talent management and
change management
 Self-driven strategic and tactical leader to drive continuous improvement and transformation.
Ability to operate at both the strategic and where required, detailed level
 Demonstrated partnership across the business along with the ability to work across
functional and geographic boundaries
 Experience in project management and process improvement with history of innovation and
skills in areas such as Lean Process Improvement, Agile, Six Sigma, etc.
 Strong negotiating and influencing skills with ability to influence a range of internal and
external, technical and non-technical stakeholders
 Strong accountability and unyielding ethical standards
 Experience managing large-scale transformation efforts in a global environment
 Extensive experience in driving business process improvement, system automation and
technology and tools
 Experience and exposure managing a global Finance and/or Accounting organization
 Results driven experience in operational excellence, cost-effective service models and
implementing a performance measurement environment
 15+ years of experience leading business process outsourcing and global Shared Services
operations across global locations. Primary focus in the F&A processes
 Bachelor’s degree is required in Business or Finance related field
 MBA or other advanced degree preferred but not required.
 CPA or equivalent would also be beneficial.
