Work closely with in-house litigation counsel and e-discovery team members on general litigation matters, pre-litigation disputes, and related matters.
Support attorneys with management of discovery including assisting with custodian interviews, managing document collection, and working with outside counsel e-discovery teams for processing and production.
Support the legal hold process and be the main point of contact for the legal hold software vendor.
Produce periodic reports including litigation reports to senior management and audit, as well as reporting metrics on litigation and legal fee reporting.
Maintain a litigation log and calendar for legal department.
Work closely with in-house counsel to manage and monitor trademark for the Bank’s trademark portfolio; liaison with outside trademark counsel.
Perform internal form reviews including standard Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs).
Handling and/or supervision of various aspects of corporate entity formation, dissolution, and maintenance upon request
Qualifications
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience; corporate paralegal experience also preferred
BA/BS or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred.
Strong computer proficiency and experience with document review technology and workflow including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
End user and administrator understanding of eDiscovery technology.
A thorough understanding of discovery procedures and familiarity with ESI tools.
Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
Great written and verbal communication skills supporting excellent customer service skills.
Experience working in an eDiscovery or litigation support environment including knowledge of the litigation process and knowledge of electronic data collection and production.
Ability to handle a varied workload and prioritize as needed.
Familiarity with technology and comfortable learning new technology.
Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and orientations.
