Our client is expanding rapidly through both organic growth and business acquisitions. We are looking for a Director level M&A and Integration Lead to join the team!
You will be tasked with accelerating M&A efforts, working closely with senior leaders including the SVP, Strategy and Business Operation, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. As part of a lean corporate leadership team you will work at all stages of the deal process, including:
● Growth strategy
● Deal sourcing
● Due diligence support
● Integration planning and execution DSN w/ some
The integration planning and execution aspect of this role will have a heavy project management component. Prior merger integration or similar operational experience is preferred, including a baseline familiarity with integration requirements across a range of functions (e.g., HR/Finance/Legal/IT/Operations/Sales/etc.).
Day-to-day focus will shift in accordance with the business’s needs. We anticipate at least 50% of your time will be spent on Integration planning and execution, and up to 50% spent on growth strategy, deal sourcing, and due diligence support.
Integration responsibilities will include:
● Ensuring that we stay laser focused on the deal rationale and translating growth strategy into specific operational decisions and outcomes
● Making sure we have strong alignment across all functions to execute on the integration plan
● Developing and owning the integration playbook
● Working cross-functionally with executives, functional leaders, and their teams to ensure overall integration preparedness, resourcing, and alignment
● Leading all technology, talent, and business integrations including day-to-day project management, execution through cross-functional integration teams, communication to various stakeholders, and serving as a guide/resource for acquired teams and leaders
● Owning deal scorecards, milestones, and metrics reporting; track and own short- and long-term progress toward deal objectives
● Building and managing relationships with founders and acquired teams. Digging into the details and working collaboratively with stakeholders across departments and levels.
This role requires a combination of skills and experience including:
● Post-merger integration project management; willingness to directly project manage integrations
● Strong quantitative abilities
● Familiarity with financial statements
● Strong interpersonal skills; ability to represent the company in top-of-funnel deal sourcing
● Eagerness to learn nut-and-bolts operational practices of a productions services business

Minimum Qualifications:
● BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience
● 6+ years of experience working in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, business operations, strategy, or other relevant operational roles
Preferred Qualifications:
● Expert skills with Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
● Prior merger integration or similar operational experience
