HR Coordinator/Manager
The pay rate for this position is negotiable and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the needs of the company.
Summary:
The HR Coordinator/Manager is responsible for the administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function.
Essential Functions
- Ongoing recruitment of home healthcare caregivers.
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
- Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.
- Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
- Recommends, evaluates, and participates in staff development for the organization.
- Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization's personnel information needs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This is a 3–4-month contract position, 100% onsite. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 4 to 10 years' related experience or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree.
- PHR/SPHR certification
