SQL Server Database Engineer / DevOps for Windows

Emerald Resource Group is currently assisting a top employer recruit for DevOps Engineer in Willoughby, OH.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help the company continue to drive the growth of their self-hosted Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server ATS CRM product.

This is a critical role for the organization, as it involves ensuring their platform is always up, running smoothly, and providing an excellent user experience for customers.

 Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain our Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and speed.
• Monitor platform performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
• Develop and maintain scripts for various operations and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Windows Server and SQL Server administration.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Powershell, Python, or similar.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of database administration, including database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
• Self-motivated, with a passion for technology and a drive for continuous learning.
• No college degree required, but a thirst for knowledge is a must!

Bonus Points:

• Experience with CRM systems, specifically those in the ATS space.
• Knowledge of network administration, including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
• Previous experience with recruitment software.
