Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Covington This position offers an exciting opportunity to support our facility's maintenance needs and contribute to the smooth operation of our production and facility equipment. Key Details:

  • Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (with potential for overtime).Training initially on the day shift and transitioning to the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) following the Pitman Schedule.


  • Temporary to Permanent Role: Possibility of extension based on training and performance
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 lbs
  • PPE Requirement: Static Dissipating


Job Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Repairing and maintaining physical structures of commercial and industrial establishments, including factories, office buildings, apartment houses, and construction sites.
  • Utilizing hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
  • Following safety and production maintenance systems and processes.
  • Supporting the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining a wide range of equipment, including dryers, chillers, thermo oxidizers, HVAC systems, fire pumps, mixers, mills, filling line equipment, conveyors, wrappers, tanks, motors, pumps, tank washers, tank tippers, dock facilities, and building maintenance.
  • Training initially on the day shift and transitioning to the night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) following the Pitman Schedule.


Mandatory Skills:

  • Ability to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • At least one year of maintenance or mechanical experience.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic theory.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of PLC programming.


Desired Skills:

  • One (1) or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (preferred).
  • Industrial, electrical, or welding certifications, and/or a post-secondary/technical degree (preferred).
