We are seeking a motivated Utility Technician I to join our team at the Columbus location. Key Details:

• Contractor Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible first shift (start time between 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM, ending at 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM, based on start time)
• Duration: Temporary position
• Required Footwear: Steel-toe work boots (not provided)
• Chemical Handling: Candidates will work with raw chemicals

Job Responsibilities:

As a Utility Technician I, you will operate an industrial forklift to facilitate the movement of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas. Alongside your team members, you will contribute to achieving the site and company objectives. Major tasks include:

• Storage and movement of products and raw materials.
• Following proper and accurate receiving procedures for various materials.
• Operating material handling equipment, including forklifts, safely at all times.
• Conducting daily maintenance checks on material handling equipment and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Ability to handle spill clean-up and rework procedures.
• Active participation in safety programs to maintain a secure working environment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the designated area.
• Wearing and maintaining safety equipment at all times.
• Contributing to the completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or required.

Experience: 1-3 years

Desired Skills:

• Experience with material handling equipment
• One year of experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Experience monitoring the quality of raw materials or finished goods
