Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of IT with a focus on Dynamic Web Ecommerce to lead a technology team. As the Manager of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of a dynamic web-based ecommerce platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing ecommerce projects and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and execute the IT strategy for dynamic web ecommerce, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of dynamic, user-friendly ecommerce websites that enhance the overall customer experience.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in ecommerce capabilities.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and excellence in dynamic web ecommerce solutions.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and identify opportunities for skill development within the team.

Ecommerce Development:

• Oversee the development, customization, and maintenance of dynamic web ecommerce platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality ecommerce solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and compliance with security protocols.
• Drive continuous improvement in ecommerce functionality, user experience, and website performance.

Project Management:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of ecommerce projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budget management.
• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Vendor Management:

• Negotiate contracts, evaluate vendor performance, and make recommendations for enhancements or changes.

Incident Management:

• Develop and implement incident response and resolution procedures to ensure the stability and reliability of the ecommerce platform.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for ecommerce-related issues and coordinate resolution with the IT team.

Qualifications:

Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 8+ years of IT experience, with a focus on dynamic web ecommerce.
• Proven experience managing and leading IT teams in ecommerce development.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce technologies, platforms, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with web development technologies, content management systems, and ecommerce frameworks.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security practices and compliance requirements.
