Title: Project Manager

Location: Wadsworth. in office

Salary: 90K-100k


We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Project Manager for software

engineering. This position will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering based at our

headquarters in Wadsworth, Ohio. This position is required to work on-site 5 days/week


This position serves as the project leader of our in-house team focused on development of quality

software in support of our business objectives. Candidates will have prior experience with project

management and people leadership in an Agile software development environment. This candidate

must be meticulous and organized and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Candidate will develop an un-biased

framework to establish priority and be able to use that framework to categorize each project based

on the established and approved framework. Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work with

our Product Owner to help prioritize key projects and drive to completion. This position requires the

capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.


Requirements

• Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.

• Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.

• Scheduling and facilitating meetings, and decision-making processes in a timely manner

• Demonstrate outstanding project leadership skills to ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget

• Monitor the performance of development resources and adjust as needed to ensure successful software roll out every sprint cycle

• Successfully manage within the confines of time, cost and quality across multiple initiatives and multiple time zones

• Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the software development team.

• Organize business analysis and quality assurance functions as they relate to software development

• Own the weekly/bi-weekly software roll out ceremonies and drive change as needed

• Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders on key performance indicators

• Be proactive in communicating potential delays to leadership and be able to seek help when projects are in jeopardy


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager in web development or eCommerce

• Experience leading and managing mid-size to large software projects

• Experience with multiple Project Management disciplines is desired

• Meticulous attention to detail and extremely self-organized

• Driven self-starter that is goal oriented

• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum ceremonies

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Make suggestions, remove roadblocks on project and find ways to improve team and project success

• Be a strong leader to deliver and hold team accountable

• Successfully manage across multiple project types with resources in multiple time zones

• Roll out of software that is performant and of high quality

• Proactively communicate with executive and management team around delays and deliveries

• Overall, be assertive, possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate successful delivery of projects based on time, quality and budget
