Job Title: Senior .NET Developer - Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Systems


Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior .NET Developer. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing processes within our Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems. You will play a crucial role in understanding business requirements, recommending solutions, and implementing them to help achieve organizational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our finance applications.


Responsibilities:


Strategy & Planning:

  • Evaluate logical views, data hierarchies, and reporting structures to ensure effective CPM system functionality.
  • Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gain necessary input and approval of requirements and designs.
  • Develop functional specifications and work with technical resources to complete object development and testing.
  • Assist the business with financial consolidations, annual budget, and forecast processes.


Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Utilize ERP or CPM applications knowledge to facilitate better deployment of finance applications and integration tools.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain process flows to optimize system performance.


Operational Management:

  • Design and develop solutions within the CPM/EPM domain, focusing on OneStream and reporting solutions.
  • Develop finance solutions and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in or lead user sessions for requirements gathering and testing.
  • Assist users with problems and independently resolve issues.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
  • Provide business reports to management and clients.
  • Assist in requirement gathering and creating system and user documentation.


Incidental Functions:

  • Contribute to projects as required to improve work efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent the team at management meetings and participate in hiring activities as needed.
  • Provide training and documentation for supported applications.


Qualifications:


Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in Finance Software Applications development (On-prem or in the Cloud).
  • Proficiency in VB or C# .NET is required.
  • Good financial process and functional knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience with Cloud Enterprise applications, ERP, and CPM applications like OneStream is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a technical resource designing and delivering finance solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain automation.
  • Familiarity with software development and support methodologies.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment.
  • Capability to lift and transport moderately heavy objects occasionally.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international) as required.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard office hours occasionally.
