Job Title: Lead IT Application Architect

Location: Cleveland, OH (Hybrid)

Role Overview:

As the Lead IT Application Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's IT landscape. You will lead the design and architecture of complex software applications, ensuring alignment with business goals, scalability, security, and best practices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and guide technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Leadership: Provide architectural leadership, vision, and strategy for IT applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Application Design: Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient IT applications, considering performance, security, and maintainability.
• Team Supervision: Manage and mentor a team of application architects and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective IT solutions.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to make informed decisions regarding their integration into our application architecture.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all applications adhere to security best practices and compliance standards, proactively addressing potential vulnerabilities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, continually improving our application architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven expertise in application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of software development languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills to motivate and guide a technical team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic technical decisions.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
