Position Title: Enterprise Platform Solution Architect

We are seeking an exceptional Strategic Technology Architect to lead our Digital Transformation initiatives and shape the future of our technological landscape. Responsibilities:

Architectural Mastermind:

• Design high-level and detailed solution architectures, crafting technical specifications and implementation plans that pave the way for our digital evolution.
• Serve as the steward of technical decisions, providing direction and documentation for high-level designs and approaches that align with our strategic objectives.
• Develop solutions anchored in our Reference Digital Integration Layer, weaving together disparate elements such as Microservices, Event-based integration, Data management, and system of record applications to create a symphony of digital transformation.
• Spearhead the design of Microservices Technology platforms, with a relentless focus on reusability and scalability.
• Stay at the forefront of digital trends, conducting proof-of-concepts and pilots to infuse our technology strategy with the latest advancements in digital transformation.

Innovative Leadership:

• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our technology solutions, identifying and mitigating risks to safeguard our business operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-performing solutions that propel our organization towards success.
• Partner with key stakeholders to understand our Business Transformation roadmap, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and workflows through technology solutions.
• Identify solution accelerators to drive adoption of modernization initiatives across the organization.

Operational Excellence:

• Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies and software products, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and addressing any operational impacts.
• Lead by example, developing and maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to guide the deployment and operation of new technologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, evaluating and enhancing operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Champion cybersecurity strategies to protect our organization from internal and external threats, collaborating with stakeholders to fortify our defenses.

Qualifications:

Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Over a decade of experience in IT, with a strong foundation in solution architecture and architectural frameworks.
• Extensive experience in driving solution architecture for large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably in manufacturing or finance industries.
• Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot or similar platforms, with a track record of designing integration solutions employing Microservices and Event-based integration.
• In-depth understanding of architectural patterns, principles, and frameworks, coupled with expertise in key technology platforms, infrastructure, database, security, and legal compliance rules.
• Familiarity with containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Enterprise) in the public/hybrid cloud model, along with experience in Azure platform and services.
• Experience in Solutioning digital products using modern development frameworks such as ReactJS, Java spring boot, and cloud platforms like Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices, as well as routing and messaging tools/patterns.
• Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on Agile product development methodologies.
