FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer with 1-3 years of experience in VB.net.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.

• Program software enhancements.

• Develop custom application reports when required.

• Perform basic support relating to printers, network, and system operations

• EDI Support

• Work with end users on projects and utilize time management skills.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 2 – 4 years’ experience in software development and support

• Ability to program in Visual Basic/.Net

• Knowledge of server and workstation operating systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of database management in an SQL environment with ability to create SQL queries

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of application development and support

• Ability to support multiple software applications

• Experience with basic web design and/or basic HTML coding (preferred)
