Job Title: IT Delivery Manager - Supply Chain Planning

Schedule: Hybrid

Location: Cleveland, OH, United States

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Delivery Manager to lead a Supply Chain Planning team in developing and supporting critical applications. As the IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of various Supply Chain Planning applications, ensuring their alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of enhancements and projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our Supply Chain Planning function.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategy & Planning:

  • Manage the Supply Chain Planning Application portfolio, including end-of-life planning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the progress of development projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with key business and IT leaders to prioritize initiatives and address challenges.
  • Research and evaluate new development standards and tools, collaborating with other technology leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Plan and coordinate system upgrades, including database, application, and web servers, to optimize performance and security.
  • Compile and recommend wants/needs for the annual budgeting process, presenting proposals to senior IT management.
  • Determine staffing and skills requirements to support project delivery and ongoing operations.
  • Drive change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Supply Chain Planning team.


Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Lead the development team in implementing and supporting Supply Chain Planning applications, guiding them through all project phases.
  • Manage daily project work, providing necessary resources to maximize productivity and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve production issues and plan new development efforts.
  • Cultivate client relationships through proactive communication and engagement on projects.


Operational Management:

  • Take overall responsibility for managing the Supply Chain Planning team and applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide application support to meet the evolving needs of the business, including issue resolution and management.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in identifying and investigating new projects and initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with customers to gather and refine business requirements, translating them into actionable development plans.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation, white papers, and presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Create and manage development work plans, tracking project deliverables and communicating progress within the broader technology team.
  • Conduct activities such as staffing, performance management, and strategic planning to build a high-performing team.
  • Set clear objectives for team members, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and mentoring.
  • Manage personal growth objectives in conjunction with the Career Development Office, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment, promoting collaboration and innovation across teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a strong background in software development life cycle and system integration.
  • Proven leadership experience, with at least 5 years of successfully leading projects and managing direct reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of Planning application development and PL/SQL development.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder architecture and applications is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across business and IT teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
