Title: Enterprise Platform Solution Architect

Location: Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Hybrid


Responsibilities:


Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive solution architecture designs, encompassing technical specifications and implementation strategies, with a focus on leveraging the Reference Digital Integration Layer.
  • Accountable for making key technical decisions, documenting solutions, and providing direction for high-level designs.
  • Design Microservices Technology platforms emphasizing reusability and scalability.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts and pilots to integrate latest digital transformation trends into the organization's technology strategy.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions, addressing any potential risks impacting business operations.
  • Provide thorough gap, risk, and impact analyses, collaborating with IT/technology owners to optimize total cost of ownership.


Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
  • Independently prototype and develop new technologies, maintaining detailed technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology deployment, prioritizing security and compliance.


Operational Management:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing metrics to measure technology architecture effectiveness.
  • Develop cybersecurity solutions to safeguard against internal and external threats.
  • Oversee seamless integration of new technology solutions with existing systems and processes.
  • Evaluate and enhance operational processes to increase efficiency and mitigate risks.


Incidental Functions:

  • Engage in knowledge-sharing forums to promote best practices and drive technical improvements.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team members' technical skills.
  • Participate in talent management processes, mentoring technical staff to achieve professional growth.


Qualifications:


Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 8+ years in solution architecture.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale ERP systems and Java/Spring Boot in service-oriented environments.
  • Proficiency in designing integration solutions using Microservices and event-based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles, frameworks, and modern product development.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure), containers (Kubernetes, Docker), and Agile methodologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps, Agile engineering practices, and routing/messaging tools.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Agile product development experience utilizing Scrum or Kanban.

Note: This position does not offer sponsorship for work authorization or H1-B visa conversion. It allows for a hybrid work model, with three days in-office and two days remote.
