Job Title: Enterprise Platform Solution Architect

Job Type: Hybrid


Job Summary:

The Enterprise Platform Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the technological landscape, ensuring alignment with business objectives and enabling digital transformation initiatives. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of architectural patterns, principles, and frameworks, coupled with proficiency across various technology platforms, infrastructure, databases, and security protocols. The incumbent will provide strategic technical leadership, influencing decision-making processes to enhance our architectural practices and support overarching business goals.


Responsibilities:


Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture designs, encompassing technical specifications and implementation strategies.
  • Assume accountability for technical decisions, documentation, and direction, ensuring alignment with established architectural standards.
  • Spearhead the development of solutions based on the Reference Digital Integration Layer, facilitating seamless integration across various enterprise applications and data systems.
  • Design Microservices Technology platforms with a focus on reusability and scalability.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept and pilots to explore innovative digital transformation trends and incorporate them into our technology strategy.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions, conducting gap, risk, and impact analyses.
  • Collaborate with IT/technology stakeholders to optimize operational impact and reduce total cost of ownership for IT capabilities.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the technology architecture, driving improvements and recommending innovative solutions.


Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Independently prototype and develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures for new technologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology deployments, ensuring compliance with security protocols.


Operational Management:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing metrics to measure the effectiveness of the technology architecture.
  • Develop cybersecurity strategies to safeguard the organization from internal and external threats.
  • Oversee the seamless integration of new technology solutions with existing systems and processes.
  • Evaluate and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.


Incidental Functions:

  • Participate in knowledge-sharing forums and committees to promote best practices and drive technical improvements.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the technical skills of team members and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to talent management processes, including hiring, mentoring, and talent development initiatives.


Qualifications:


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a focus on solution architecture and architectural frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot or similar platforms in a service-oriented environment.
  • Strong technical background in key technology platforms, infrastructure, database management, and security protocols.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Enterprise) in public/hybrid cloud models.
  • Extensive experience in Microservices, event-based integration, and data management.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.


Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
  • Experience with routing and messaging tools/patterns.
  • Agile product development experience utilizing Scrum or Kanban.
  • Exposure to Agile tools and methodologies.
