Job Description: Finance Systems Architect

Location: Cleveland, OH

Type: Hybrid Schedule

Responsibilities:

As a Finance Systems Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the Finance architecture to align with business goals and technology transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Partnership:

•   Collaborate with business leadership, IT leaders, and Enterprise Architecture to align Finance architecture with the vision, strategy, and execution to meet business requirements.

2. Integrated Finance View:

•   Develop an integrated view of Finance capabilities and processes, leveraging industry best practices and techniques, to create a cohesive framework.

3. Technology Recommendations:

•   Provide consulting and technology recommendations to drive fintech technology transformation, mature existing capabilities, and enable new ones.

4. Domain Architecture Decisions:

•   Be accountable for Finance domain architecture decisions that support fintech investments and align with the overall business strategy.

5. Technology Roadmap Management:

•   Manage the Finance domain technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with the OneSHW business strategy.

6. Standards and Best Practices:

•   Facilitate the definition and publication of standards, best practices, and capabilities for Finance, synchronized with the enterprise future state architecture.

7. Modeling and Design:

•   Create conceptual and logical models for the Finance domain, informing the physical design of related projects based on enterprise guidance.

8. Process Streamlining:

•   Provide guidance on streamlining business processes and implementing technologies to support a vertically integrated business model.

9. Innovation Collaboration:

•   Collaborate with Finance and DT innovation teams to identify opportunities for new innovations, such as Automation, Fintech, and emerging technologies, supporting the overall digital business strategy.

Qualifications:

Formal Education:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 12+ years of IT experience.
• 6+ years of Financial IT Systems Architecture experience in a complex Finance ecosystem.
• 6+ years’ experience with Finance, Treasury, and Finance Reporting solutions.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Current hands-on experience with industry-leading financial tools and setting long-term financial architecture roadmaps.
• Understanding of modern technologies, platforms, and development practices for digital transformation.
• Understanding of core finance business processes, management, and external reporting requirements.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
• Experience with modern integration patterns, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.
• In-depth experience with driving technology transformation initiatives.

Preferred:

• Oracle application implementation experience with various financial modules.
