Job Title: Senior IT Developer

Location: Columbus, OH (Relocation Available)

Salary: Up to $115,000 per year

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid Schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to gather and formulate business requirements.
  • Work on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Utilize Java, ORM/JPA/Hibernate, Web Services, Object-oriented design techniques, and common design patterns in development tasks.
  • Write SQL queries and stored procedures for Oracle databases.
  • Test, debug, and diagnose software bugs and system issues, with a focus on automated testing.
  • Implement API and Microservices architecture using leading solutions.
  • Develop business-critical, high-volume, and highly available services.
  • Provide hands-on development leadership using a variety of technologies, development tools, and database systems.


Qualifications:


Formal Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Strong Java skills, along with experience in ORM/JPA/Hibernate, Web Services, and Object-oriented design.
  • 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures for Oracle databases.
  • Experience in automated testing.
  • Microservices architecture experience.
  • Advanced skills in implementing API and Microservices architecture.
