Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes, contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, problem-solving, and process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Control: Implement and manage quality control processes to ensure products and processes meet established quality standards.
  2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to enhance product quality.
  3. Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures, standards, and specifications to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  4. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, defects, and areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Auditing: Conduct quality audits and inspections to verify compliance with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  6. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and determine the root causes of quality issues and non-conformities, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records.
  8. Training: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality processes and procedures.
  9. Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their products and processes meet quality standards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in a quality engineering or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with quality management software is a plus.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
