Job Title: I.T. Business Analyst - Claims Data and Analytics

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States (On-site)

Salary Range:$117,000 per year

Note: This position is open to candidates local to Northeast Ohio. Remote work is possible 3 to 4 days a week, but only if local. Only US Citizens or current Green Card holders will be considered.


Job Description:

We are seeking an I.T. Business Analyst with a background in insurance, medical claims, or healthcare. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building 3rd generation claims applications, a significant business objective for the next several years. The ideal candidate should have documented experience in medical claims processing data and be comfortable working with patient data, population health data, physician care data, and medical providers. Proficiency in using and producing business intelligence tools like Tableau, Synapse, PowerBI, Excel, etc., is essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of I.T. and Operational leaders and technical experts.
  • Manage data reports both directly and indirectly.
  • Develop project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate projects and provide guidance and coaching to team members.
  • Create and submit project proposals and implement approved project plans.
  • Develop IT policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
  • Work with senior management to develop a strategy that aligns with the overall business plan.
  • Translate business requirements into system solutions and designs.
  • Act as a liaison between leaders and various teams to enhance efficiency within claims data and influence process improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Background in insurance, medical claims, or healthcare is required.
  • Current or recent documented experience working with medical claims processing data.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Synapse, PowerBI, Excel, etc.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
