Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Summary:

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be part of our cutting-edge infrastructure team, working closely with technical architects and senior engineers to support and enhance our network and server environments. Your responsibilities will include configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, monitoring security configurations, and ensuring the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all physical/virtual networking infrastructure, operating systems, and related hardware/software.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining physical/virtual server environments, including VMWare, Linux, and Windows-based systems.
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment.
• Collaborate on planning, engineering, and monitoring security configurations to protect network systems.
• Support and maintain the network monitoring system, including alerts and updates.
• Manage firewalls, virtual private networks, and web protocols.
• Implement, test, and manage vulnerability remediation activities to enhance security.
• Conduct threat hunting activities by analyzing system logs, events, and alerts.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Perform disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution.
• Evaluate and recommend vendor products related to network and security solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for network, security, and server systems.
• Lead project management activities for technical services projects.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field OR 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco Nexus, F5 load balancers, next-generation firewall, and EDR.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA) are a plus.
