Job Title: Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional to join our client's Audit and Accounting Services department as a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will play a key part in diverse accounting and audit assignments, collaborating closely with team members across all levels and gaining exposure to a wide range of clients and industries. Responsibilities:

- Perform various accounting and audit tasks under the guidance of senior team members.

- Collaborate with department members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments.

- Engage with clients from different industries, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all tasks and projects.

- Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking, approaching challenges with a curious and solution-oriented mindset.

- Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in remote communication and project management tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, or current undergraduate student with Senior status.

- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.

- Enthusiasm for the public accounting profession with plans to obtain CPA license; having completed 150 credit hours per State requirements is a plus.

- Quick learner with the ability to grasp and apply new concepts rapidly.

- High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with remote communication and project management tools is advantageous.

- Location: Beachwood, with a blend of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $85,000
