Job Title: Senior Solution Architect

Location: Cleveland, OH


Note: This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa. This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.


Responsibilities:


Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop high-level and detailed solution architecture designs, including technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Accountable for technical decisions, documentation, and direction for high-level designs and approaches.
  • Provide solutions based on Reference Digital Integration Layer, tying together various technology components across the globe.
  • Design Microservices Technology platforms with a strong focus on reusability.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept on the latest trends in digital transformation and apply them to the organization's technology strategy.
  • Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of technology solutions, addressing potential risks or issues.
  • Provide gap, risk, and impact analysis.
  • Identify solution accelerators to increase adoption of modernization.


Acquisition & Deployment:

  • Monitor and manage the performance of deployed technologies and software products, ensuring they meet agreed-upon SLAs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs for the deployment and operation of new technologies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with deployment, ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.


Operational Management:

  • Establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, implementing metrics to measure the effectiveness of technology architecture.
  • Develop solutions to support cybersecurity strategies.
  • Oversee deployment of new technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.


Incidental Functions

  • Participate in internal and external committees to share knowledge and promote best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills among team members.
  • Participate in hiring and talent management processes.
  • Serve as a mentor to technical staff.


Qualifications:


Formal Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent experience.


Knowledge & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in IT.
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience in driving solution architecture for large-scale ERP systems.
  • Experience in Java/Spring Boot or similar platforms.
  • Experience in designing integration solutions employing Microservices, Event-based integration layer, and data management layer.
  • Strong technical background in key technology platforms, infrastructure, database, security, legal compliance rules, and software platforms.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration platforms in the public/hybrid cloud model.
  • Experience with Azure platform and services.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile product development experience.
  • Experience with routing and messaging tools/patterns.
