Harrison Gray has partnered with a growing wealth management firm in Los Angeles to find their next Wealth Advisor/CFP. This role is responsible for maintaining existing clients and helping to grow and expand the firm.


Responsibilities

The Wealth Advisor/Certified Financial Planner can expect to focus on the following areas:


  • Manage client relationships with extensive client contact.
  • Actively manages a client portfolio for the overall development and management of an investment strategy.
  • Provides financial planning to the clients.
  • Oversee the processes of opening accounts, drafting correspondence to clients, and transferring/distributing assets.
  • Respond to direct client requests.
  • Continued development of new business. Developed through independent means and utilizing professional networking and direct solicitation.


Qualifications

The Wealth Advisor/Certified Financial Planner position typically requires the following qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of general Wealth Advisory and Portfolio Management experience interfacing with HNW clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, an advanced degree is preferred but not required.
  • Established network of accounting and legal professionals in the local and regional markets.
  • Familiarity with Junxure, Advyzon, e-money, Morningstar, Zoom, Slack, and other client reporting applications is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter, takes initiative
  • Transferable book of business a plus


Designations: CFP Preferred
