Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a stable insurance brokerage that is looking for an Assistant Project Manager in East Providence, RI. This client has been around for almost 150 years, is owned by a Trust, and has the reputation of being one of the Best Places to Work in its respective territories.

Reporting to the Operations & Agency Management Systems Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager supports Operations projects encompassing IT and Training. Responsibilities include updating project plans, coordinating meetings, and liaising with multiple agency contacts for project success. This role offers remote work flexibility with occasional in-person meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT for system feedback and validation.
• Assist in reviewing and creating operational procedures.
• Contribute to comprehensive project roadmaps.
• Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate project and training schedules.
• Identify IT education improvement areas.
• Collaborate on training session creation.
• Assist in data governance and project metric analysis.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements:

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Exceptional organizational and attention to detail abilities.
• Effective time management and deadline orientation.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Adaptability in project management styles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Project Management preferred.
• 3-5 years of project management experience; insurance industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
