Harrison Gray Search has partnered with an innovative design and engineering group based in Detroit for over 100 years.

They are seeking a Project Structural Engineer who has or is on their way to obtaining a PE.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:​​

• Lead project structural engineering team; provide mentorship and oversight of work given to junior staff
• Analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel reinforced concrete, and masonry
• Development of construction documents, building information model, drawings, and specifications; meeting the scheduled project issue dates
• Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines
• Construction administration, including shop drawing review and responding to Contractor questions
• Assist in developing proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred
• 5 – 10 years of relevant project experience
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer
• Revit experience preferred
• RISA-3D and RISAFloor experience preferred
• Project leadership skills
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required
