Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a family-owned insurance brokerage seeking a Property and Casualty Sales Consultant. Our client emphasizes doing what is right for its clients and colleagues, earning their nomination as a Top Workplace in the Pittsburgh, PA area.



*Must be located in Pittsburgh, PA, Central, PA, or Columbus, OH, and able to travel to Pittsburgh quarterly.*



Responsibilities:

  • New Business: Reach annual revenue targets through consultative sales. Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across departments.
  • Relationship Management: Manage book of business using insurance expertise. Proactively manage client renewals and suggest program enhancements. Collaborate with Consultative, Claims, and Risk Control teams to implement service plans. Coordinate sales and renewals with team members.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads via research, relationships, referrals, social media, and networking. Assess prospects using our sales criteria. Create and present proposals based on thorough discovery and a consultative sales approach.
  • Continuing Education: Enhance understanding of Property & Casualty plans, departmental services, and compliance through meetings, education sessions, research, and formal education programs.


Qualifications:

  • Property & Casualty agency license required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance principles and practices
  • Excellent professional communication skills such as listening, speaking, and writing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere
  • Proficient in office technology, such as Microsoft Office products
