Harrison Gray Search has partnered with a family-owned insurance brokerage and risk management agency to help them find a Commercial Lines Account Executive in Pensacola, FL.


Position Summary

The Account Executive interacts with clients and carriers to meet and exceed their ongoing insurance and risk management needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of clients and colleagues in a team environment focused on delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support for producers.
  • Actively develop positive relationships with current and prospective clients and carrier contacts/underwriters.
  • Achieve client retention targets.
  • Follow best practices and suggest improvements to enhance workflows and prevent potential errors and omissions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of markets, policies, and products.
  • Understand clients’ businesses, strategic priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients.
  • Provide day-to-day service to ensure client needs are met.
  • Maintain quality service plans, open item reports, policy expiration/renewal tracking, and completion.
  • Complete policy reviews and request corrections as necessary.
  • Manage invoicing and certificate processes.
  • Request, track, and process audits and endorsements.
  • Collect exposure information for new business and renewals.
  • Create submissions and prepare proposals for accounts not handled by marketing.
  • Ability to work a regular, full-time schedule at company facilities and travel for business as required.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Desired Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • 220 FL General Lines P&C license required
  • Experience with AMS360 and ImageRight strongly preferred.
  • College degree desirable.
  • 3+ years’ experience with mid to large commercial P&C insurance clients.
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge and background.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance agency management systems.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
