POSITION SUMMARY

This position manages all multidiscipline, technical work and resources on a project including technical acceptability of the work; schedule of the work; engineering input to keep the capital cost within the budget; manhour efficiency and cost; inter-discipline coordination; and design change management. Project Engineering functions are performed in one or more of the industries in which our client provides solutions. These industries include Energy (fossil, syngas, and renewable), Mining and Minerals, Utilities, Power (generation and delivery), etc.

• Administrative and technical supervision is provided by the Chief Project Engineer with assignments given in broad terms by the Project Manager.
• Provide staffing assignments to projects for up to 50 engineers and designers on a project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL

• Project Engineer IV – Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience on project(s) as a project lead in one of the engineering disciplines or in project controls.
• At least 3 months of on-site field experience is desirable.

• Project Engineer III – Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent plus at least all of the following:
• 5 years of experience on project(s) as a lead in one of the engineering disciplines or in project controls
• 2 years of experience coordinating or directing multiple technical disciplines
• At least 6 months of on-site field experience is desirable.

• Project Engineer II – Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent plus at least the following:
• 5 years of experience on project(s) as a lead in one of the engineering disciplines or in project controls plus
• 4 years of experience coordinating or directing multiple technical disciplines
• PE or PMP certification
• At least 9 months of on-site field experience is desirable

• Project Engineer I - Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent plus at least the following:
• 5 years of experience on the project(s) as a lead in one of the engineering disciplines or in project controls plus
• 6 years of experience coordinating or directing multiple technical disciplines
• PE or PMP certification
• At least 12 months of on-site field experience is desirable.

• Senior Project Engineer (IV to I) -- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent plus at least the following:
•  5 years of experience on project(s) as a lead in one of the engineering disciplines or in project controls plus
• 10 to 30 years of experience coordinating or directing multiple technical disciplines as a project engineer or project manager.
• PE or PMP certification
• At least 12 months of on-site field experience is desirable.
