Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals with an Associate Degree or higher to join our team as a Substitute Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and ensuring the continuation of instructional activities.

1. Instruction: Implement lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher or create short-term lesson plans when necessary.
2. Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined and cohesive learning environment.
3. Record Keeping: Document student attendance, incidents, and other relevant classroom activities.
4. Adaptability: Be prepared to work in various classrooms and grade levels as needed.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, administrators, and staff to ensure the success and safety of students.
6. Feedback: Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding the day’s activities, including student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:



1. Associate Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
2. Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
3. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work with diverse groups of students.
5. Familiarity with school administrative tasks and the use of educational technology.
6. Must pass a background check.
